I realized that Cookie hadn't been to Chuck E. Cheese since we went with Butlers when she was 2. It was time. We went with the Ballards, our dearest friends.

She is a cupcake fanatic. Freckles makes cupcakes whenever she can. These were delicious.
We had a "it's too cold to go to school" day-- very strange. There was hardly any snow, but we spent two days inside. A few good movies, some craft projects and some cooking experiments...
We moved off the hillside and havent seen bears or mountain lions since. However, we did see this coyote wandering the prairie in the freezing cold. He had been sitting in our back yard until Jasper scared him away.
