One of the best things about motherhood is seeing the world through their eyes.  We got to spend a ton of time in the water while we were in Indiana this summer. Freckles loves poppas lake. She learned to dive for the first time off the back of the boat. She loves swimming, tubing and skipping rocks. 

 Cookie learned to get over her fear of water. She quit wearing her swimming wings and started jumping in. I loved watching her conquer her fears and love the water. I love these two photos. This one captures cookie with her cousin, Mia.

Well, It has been several months since I have posted. Lots has happened. I bought a house, went to Indiana for a month, moved, got a job, got a dog, and celebrated my daughter's twelfth birthday. One bad thing that happened was that I lost the connector cable for my camera. Posting pictures has been impossible. I guess I will have to break down and buy a new one. blah.

Happy Birthday, Freckles.

 

Well, the girl is 12. It is hard to believe. We celebrated big for this momentous occasion. Appa and Poppa were in town to help us give Freckles a fantastic birthday.

 Kit joined us for a day in Denver. We had frozen yogurt and headed to the new American Girl Store. Everyone found something they liked.

We spent the weekend with mary in Cheyenne. We took her to the farmers market which is a highlight for her. and for the girls. Freckles loves the cupcake booth and cookie likes the free peach tastes they offer.

There are no words to describe how much I loved watching my little cookie dance. I remember crying and praying over her little foot when she was born. Seeing her dance and worship God melted my heart...

Cookie can't decide if she wants to be a firefighter or a Kitty cat. I know this is a hard decision. I think she is leaning toward fighting fires after our recent Mom's club visit to the fire station. We had a blast talking to the firefighters, touring the station and sitting in the truck. The only part cookie didn't like was when the demonstrated their siren...
